Thanks for visiting the new Humble Salt website!

Humble Salt was born in the mountains of Northern California at JH Ranch. I worked there during my summers in college learning to cook and lead a kitchen crew. During that time, the executive chef taught me his secret salt mix recipe. I immediately fell in love with it and had to share it with the world (with his permission of course)!

The name, Humble Salt, comes from a quote by my favorite writer, Charles Spurgeon. He once said, β€œthe genuine salt of humility cannot be used in excess.” Just as we can never have too much genuine humility in our lives, I also believe we cannot have too much Humble Salt. It truly does go great with everything. From chicken and steak to steamed vegetables, salads, and soups you cannot go wrong. My personal favorite is to use it as a finishing salt for any type of meat after it is cooked.

As salt enhances flavor, my hope is that this product will enhance your meal times. From first dates to family dinners, may Humble Salt enhance your time with others.
